Marketing and Technology Initiatives (MTI)

Established in 2005, Marketing and Technology Initiatives International Inc. (MTI) is a joint venture between Marketing Initiatives International inc. (MII) and Tri Tier Systems Inc. (TTS). MTI was established with a primary focus of addressing the particular needs of small and mid sized business (SMB's).

Through the unification of MMI and TTS, MTI provides over 25 years combined business experience reinforced by a unique fusion of integrated business services encompassing end-to-end marketing and technology solutions.

MTI is also an authorized Netsuite Solutions Provider and an authorized reseller of Net Integration Technologies Nitix infrastructure products from Net Integration Technologies Inc.

Marketing Initiatives International inc. (MII)

MII was founded in 1988 as Marketing/Trademark Consultants Inc. of Canada, the Canadian affiliate of a large, U.S. based, brand licensing agency, of the same name.

By 1990, the company's previous, exclusive focus on corporate and brand licensing had greatly expanded to include a wide range of marketing consulting, creative and production services. In recognition of those changes, the firm's name was changed to Marketing Initiatives International Inc. (MII). In 2003, MII celebrated our 15th anniversary.

MMI is 50% owner of Marketing and technology Initiatives.

Tri Tier Systems Limited (TTS)

Tri Tier Systems was founded in 1997 with the initial purpose of providing custom GUI client/server interfaces layered on top of existing legacy applications. Subsequently, the company then turned its focus to consulting services for legacy applications being connected to the web. Today, Tri Tier Systems has evolved to provide essential web services for a global economy enabling new levels of operating efficiency for a small business clientele.

TTS is 50% owner of Marketing and technology Initiatives.
Our Principals

Blair Davies, Principal, Director of Technology Services

Since graduating from Laurentian University with a Computer Science Degree, Blair Davies has been involved in a variety of successful implementations of enterprise level applications across multiple industries.

With the emergence and availability of new internet based technologies, Blair decided to bring his knowledge and skills to the small to medium business (SMB) market through the establishment of Tri Tier Systems in 1990. As Tri Tier successfully widened its client base, it also became increasingly evident that many of their SMB customers lacked the branding & marketing component necessary to compliment and capitalize upon their technology investment.

As a result, in the belief that growing a successfull business in today's competitive environment requires a strategic alignment and integration of both marketing and technology, Blair joined with Peter Glen in 2005, in the creation of Marketing and Technology Initiatives (MTI). Together, through MTI, Blair & Peter provide that fusion of top line marketing and bottom line technology services, necessary to the growth of successful SMBs.

Peter M. Glen, Principal, Director of Marketing Services

Peter's combined academic qualifications from the Ontario College of Art (Industrial Design 1969) and York University (Administrative Studies), reflects his career interest in marketing and design, from both the analytical and applied perspectives.

Post graduation, Peter combined his talents in fulfilling both account services and creative services roles for a Toronto based advertising agency named Hiller Rinaldo Associates. Four years later, Peter joined Labatt Breweries in London as National Packaging Manager. Over the next seventeen years, Peter held a succession of intermediate and senior marketing management roles for Labatts encompassing Promotions, Sales, Special Projects, Licensing and Brand Management, at both Head Office and Divisional levels.

In 1988, Peter founded Marketing Initiatives International Inc. (MII), as a brand focused marketing agency offering an array of "top line" strategic and tactical marketing solutions. In 2005, as President of MII, Peter joined with Blair Davies in the creation of Marketing and Technology Initiatives (MTI) with an extended focus combining "Top line" marketing services, with "Bottom Line" technology solutions targetted at small and medium sized business.
